Innovative optimizing crosscut saw

The automatic and optimizing crosscut saw SalvaPush_2000 is the result of over twenty years of experience in wood optimizers. The operator only needs to mark the wood quality and presence of defects, and the optimizer will do the rest. The machine cuts the best combination of measurements possible, minimizing waste and improving productivity, all in total safety.

Cutting group

The SalvaPush_2000 structure is made of hard steel to guarantee reliability and long life. The cutting unit has an inclined plane of 25 degrees and the smart pressing hood, after the first cut, automatically adapts to the thickness of the board.

The machine is completed with two electro-pneumatic side alignment devices, both inside the machine unit, one before and one after the blade.

Operational electronic management system SALVA-OPTIM

The electronic management system consists of state-of-the-art integrated numerical control and computer to facilitate communication speeds of less than a millisecond. SALVA-OPTIM is intuitive and easy-to-use software thanks to a simple graphical interface, in line with major smart electronics systems. Some sections of the program are dedicated to cutting statistics and results, with real-time updates, diagnostics, and video messages. The software allows complete management of up to 5 cutting qualities. The highly resistant touchscreen is positioned for easy reading and data entry, includes USB connections, and features internet-ready tele-service software.

Numerical control system

The feeding system operates with numerical control. The computer and servo drive are connected via EtherCAT connection.

Electronic servo driver motor

The electronic constant torque servo driver motor, of the brushless type, ensures maximum precision while reducing power issues.

Functional worktable

The worktable is inclined at a 25-degree angle to aid loading and keep the piece close without increasing the height of the table itself.

Solid and reliable carriage

The pusher carriage is a section of great importance: it must be solid and reliable. Its dimensions are 300x345x25 mm.

Laser photocell

The fixed reading system consists of a laser photocell that detects the presence of the board and a luminescence reader for fluorescent marks.

Transmission system

The 50 mm wide toothed belt and the 33 strips of hard steel allow for precise work and reduce the effects of dust and the need for maintenance.

Tilting Table

Outfeed table with inclined rotation, equipped with a double-axis for rotation and discharge of the entire cut board in one cycle while the pusher retracts without wasting time. It expels the cutting sequence in one cycle, rotating and ejecting. Solid steel collection surface with a width of 700 mm.

Special software reset action in case of cycle interruption. The rotating table installed at the outfeed of the SalvaPush_2000 automatic and optimizing crosscut saw allows for an automated piece collection system that serves as a discharge buffer.

Ideal automation for both single pieces and bundles.

Lenght Selector

Division of cut pieces by size, quality, recovery, and waste. Non-reusable waste goes to the end of the conveyor. The belt is centrally guided by a trapezoidal guide. High-speed ejectors. Three sliding guides each. Heavy-duty series. Variable fastening in the conveyor length. Possibility of ejecting with 2 ejectors simultaneously included.

The length selector installed at the outfeed of the SalvaPush_2000 automatic and optimizing crosscut saw allows for an automation of selection and division of cuts during unloading.
